Rights & permission

Access to this site does not grant a licence to reuse protected material. Where permission is required by law, obtain it from the relevant rightsholder before copying, re-uploading, distribution, sampling, remixing, synchronization with images or video, adaptation, commercial or promotional use, or creating derivative works.

Mandatory statutory exceptions remain unaffected. Any other applicable exception, limitation or existing licence also continues to apply. This notice does not claim rights in unprotected material or override third-party licences, including the separate licence supplied with the site's font.

Text and data mining

To the extent that rights may lawfully be reserved, rights for non-research text and data mining (TDM), including model training, are expressly reserved for protected material controlled by the relevant rightsholder. This reservation does not remove mandatory scientific-research exceptions or other uses permitted by law.

Machine-readable TDM metadata and selected crawler rules express this preference on a best-effort basis. They cannot guarantee compliance or prevent copying. In this isolated preview, the TDM and crawler files sit below /the-veil-v07/; origin-root discovery is not in place. A separately approved final launch must place them at the origin root.
